Girls Only Teams & Competitions
West Pymble FC is a fantastic local football club, which has a strong community spirit, and commitment to give players a team environment that they’ll enjoy and look forward to being a part of.
West Pymble FC offers girls and women of all ages the opportunity to play the game and enjoy the social elements it brings with it too.
Girls from the age of 4 can play football, and the Girls’ teams start from the age of Under 6yrs old. This is a great time to introduce girls to football, as they enjoy the fun and friendship that the game has to offer.
Games are played on Sunday mornings around the Ku-Ring-Gai district. Older teams may play later in the morning. The time schedule can vary week to week, and the schedule is published in advance as best it can be.
Girls’ teams are available for community team, and we also have a development pathway called Diamond League for girls who want extra training and guidance.
Girls’ teams are generally available for the following age groups, which can vary based on total player registrations in each age group:
Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 9, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18-20.
In 2024, a new Under 18-20yrs age group has been established, to give older girls an extra option to play in this league, before moving to the Women’s All Age Division. Girls who are 18yrs and over are still able to play and register for the Women’s All Age groups if they’d like to! And, they can also play in both age groups, so they can enjoy 2 teams for the price of 1!
As an added bonus for girls - girls who register for girls-only teams are also able to play in a Saturday mixed-team at no additional cost! So you can enjoy 2 game for the price of 1. Girls are also able to help out the Mixed teams if they are short on players too.
West Pymble FC is a proud participating club in Diamond League, the exciting development pathway for girls that provides the opportunity for keen young female players to enjoy their football, develop their skills under professional coaches, and play with and against equally keen players.
